![]() ![]() Phones that cost four or five times more than the Moto G Pure don't have a histogram in the default camera app. Pro mode even has a floating window histogram. The Moto G Pure has a Pro mode where you can dial in settings for photos manually. Here is what a photo taken at night looks like from a $160 phone. But a consequence of that is a very dramatic looking photo. By exposing on the Transamerica building, it renders pretty much everything else in dark shadow. Here's another photo where the dynamic range isn't great. But I dig this photo of the Bay Bridge at sunrise. I have to acknowledge that there is a bit of image noise and blurry noise reduction. But for a $160 phone, this it nailed exposing the photo for the cable car. It doesn't have a night mode and the photos taken indoors under dim lighting have image noise and softness.Ĭlearly the Moto G Pure doesn't have the best dynamic range. The camera has HDR, portrait mode and Google Lens. Are you going to be able to take decent photos most of the time in good lighting? You betcha. But those phones cost $300 to $500 more than the Moto G Pure. Is the Moto G Pure's camera on the level of the iPhone, Google Pixel or Samsung Galaxy S21? Of course not. I'm not sure what I'd expect out of the camera on a $160 phone, but the Moto G Pure definitely exceeded my expectations. The two work together for things like portrait mode and spot color photos. Technically there is a second camera in the form of a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is a single rear 13-megapixel camera. The Moto G Pure camera works but doesn't wow The Moto G Pure has a 13-megapixel camera and a depth sensor. Meaning you should have no trouble getting through a day. In the few days I had the phone, I charged it twice. Motorola quotes two days on a single charge. But combine that battery with a close-to-stock version of Android 11, the MediaTek processor, a lower-resolution display and 4G LTE connectivity, then you have a satiated phone in terms of battery life. That's big, but it's not the biggest battery you can get, even in a phone by Motorola. The Moto G Pure packs a 4,000-mAh battery. And there are few things about it that stand out to me. ![]() It's not peppy, but it's not annoyingly slow either. The Moto G Pure has a refreshing, minimalistic vibe. (The phone won't be available internationally, but $160 converts to roughly £120 or AU$220.) ![]() But I'd argue that at $160, the Moto G Pure punches well above its weight when it comes to the basics. Clearly the iPhone 13 is a superior phone in nearly every way. To put that into perspective, for the price of an iPhone 13, you could buy four and a half Moto G Pure phones. The Moto G Pure costs $160 and that's before discounts, of which surely there will be some. And by cheap, I don't mean poorly made quite the opposite, actually. Tire Diameter = Rim Diameter + (2 x Aspect Ratio x Section Width) / 25.4Įxample (200/55R18 tire): Tire Diameter = 18 + (2 x 0.55 x 200) / 25.4 = 26.The sole purpose of this phone's existence is to be cheap. The "R" means Radial tire and the last number, far right, is the rim diameter in inches. The number to the right of the slash ("/") is the Aspect Ratio (percent of width). The bigger number (on the left) is the Section Width in millimeters (1"=25.4mm). "R" means Radial and "B" means Bias tire. Enter any three of the numbers into this formula to solve for the fourth. For example a 200/55R18 would be around 26.7 inches tall and 7.9 (200mm/25.4) inches wide. This formula is a quick way to get the tire diameter of those metric tires that are common on just about everything stock. Tire Diameter Calculation ( Just for information ) Most of the bikers will want to know a tire diameter (measured in inches). And roughly each additional 0.5" of rim width will be approximately 0.25" more in each tire width Fitment to these rims may result in slippage or air loss. A narrow rim will alter the tire profile, with a smaller contact patch during braking. A tire which is installed on a wider than recommended rim will have a "flattened" profile, and a rider may easily reach the edge of the tread during cornering. The millimeter(mm) equivalent for it: MH - 80mm, MJ - 90mm, MM - 100mm, MN - 110mm, MP - 110mm, MR - 120mm, MT - 130mm, MU - 140mm, MV - 150mmįo example MU90-16 - 140mm wide, 90% profile, 16" rim To convert from millimeters to inches divide by 25.4 (1"=25.4mm)Ĭorrect rim width may be critical to handling and stability. Some of the motorcycle tires have a lettering designation. ** Only 180/60-17 Dunlop GT502, Pirelli Night Dragon and Michelin Scorcher 31 tire fits on 17x4.5 rim Use this table to determine the tire size that can fit your rim. ![]()
